I really had high hopes for this company as our last two vendors could no longer service our complicated glass front (double) door which is also tied into other systems (fire system monitoring company). We had dealt with them before in the past, so I was banking on the experience. In the beginning, they were pretty responsive (there were a few other technicians that assisted the regular one; I remembered the senior one had come out here before, years ago). They changed out the sensor, but there was an issue with it, so it turns out, they had to change it out several times; the warranty on it was for one year. After three times, they stopped coming after I called them. I have no issue with the CSR's as they were always polite and even let me know that the technician was visiting and/or were on their way. I like getting a head's up; most vendors assume that I am here everyday, I usually am, but sometimes, there are doc appts or vacation time, ya know. There were two no-show's. I figured as much after the first time. My supervisor wanted options (I was not the decision maker, so they were trying to explain to me, but if I am trying to explain it to another person, something might get lost in translation. A lot of times, I am the middle person, dealing with vendors, on a daily basis). Even a call. But nothing. Sorry, I gotta be honest.
I initially contacted them to adjust my front business door because it wasn't shutting properly. They came out the next day, but instead of addressing the door as requested, they gave me a quote full of unnecessary extras I had no interest in. The quote was $650, which I was ready to handle. However, it took 9 days and 4 follow-ups from my end to finally get the job scheduled. Then, right before the end of my workday, I got a call saying they had accidentally sent the wrong quote. Originally sent on October 2nd, they only informed me on October 8th that the quote was incorrect. The new quote doubled to $1,299.95, with an added person and 5 extra hours of labor--completely unreasonable! The entire experience was frustrating, from the delays to being hit with a new, inflated quote. Thankfully, I called Main Street Door Repair, and Ken came out the next day. He fixed my door perfectly for $200, a fraction of the price ADG wanted to charge!
If you guys are thinking about begging service from this company I recommend that you guys don’t and to think about twice from it we got a visit from them yesterday for 15 mins they were just looking and twisting and they charged us 285 and we paid for all of it and they tried to come in and just do the same thing again we told them no and that they are thieves
