Got a Groupon for my birthday here and when I looked it up on Yelp there were no reviews so I was skeptical but went anyways. Oh my goodness Michael is a miracle worker!! He was very professional and personable. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He asked what bothered me and if I had any injuries or areas of concern. Michael worked out all my knots and gave me stretches to open up my pecks/shoulders since they were really tight and knotty. He massaged from my head to toes...literally. It was heaven. Michael's business is inside the Beach Retreat Day Spa. My appointment was at 7:15pm so there wasn't anybody in there. The reception area is decorated really cute and very relaxing. The room was dimly lit with comforting music. There's a rack to hang your clothes on while getting your massage. I've been to several different massages businesses from day spas to the chain places to the cheapy places and have had my share of crappy massages and exceptional massages. Michael is on the exceptional scale and I made an appointment to come back in a week! I recommend Michael!! He's knowledgeable in sport massages as well!! Extra plus for that!

I went to the Beach Retreat on Water Street in Downtown Henderson and Deanna gave my an amazing.haircut. I badly needed one but was a little worried about going for a short cut.(my hair was shoulder length) but Deanna did a fabulous job and showed me how to style it. It was a fun and relaxing experience. I'm definitely going to see her again. Maybe for a mesage next time.

This place caught my eye due to the $6.99 haircut. I've been here 4 times now, and the service is always quick and friendly. She does get busy so I've had to leave and come back another time since I rarely make an appointment for my speedy haircut. Its a nice beach theme place, and they also do massages. I haven't gotten a massage yet but I will because its very professional and relatively inexpensive. Just a nice family owned place, right across the street from Lovelady Brewing so a haircut and beer afterwork works perfectly for me.
