Kind and caring staff. Very professional Dr. Brewer is the best optometrist I have ever had and I have had many in my 82 years. Appointments are not rushed and begin on time. They have all the instrumentation for a very thorough exam. Highly recommended.
My entire family, multiple generations, go to this practice. They have always been very professional and great. Dr Brewer was the first eye doctor to help my son. We had gone to multiple eye doctors and they all completely missed that he basically had double vision and is unable to track. She gave him a special prescription, recommended a special place for eye therapy and he is reading so much better and he reports that the double vision is gone. I cannot thank her enough!!.
Before I made an appointment with Valley Eyecare, I don't remember the last time I'd seen an optometrist for a vision examination. I'm guessing that it was 10 years or even more. I do remember the last full evaluation was done at the UC Berkeley Optometry clinic and that it was a long appointment. I've carried vision insurance for years, of which Gayle has used. But for some reason I didn't place this kind of health-related care at the same level as dental or medical. A high school friend, who is also a retired optometrist, convinced me to go, if only to confirm that I didn't have any glaucoma, macular degeneration, or cataract issues. Gayle... read full review
