    I purchased my pellet stove for the parlor in my rustic old home. I've had the stove for a few years and have enjoyed it's warmth, form and function for many winter nights. To begin, I made my purchase in person and was treated professionally and respectfully. The stove was installed and I was given thorough instructions for operation and maintenance. When the stove is in operation, my forced air heater is not! The stove heats my drafty old Victorian home quite efficiently. I had a minor issue with the stove early on and was delighted with the response from the team at Thelin. They took care of the problem without hesitation. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another stove from Thelin Hearth, but the one I have is more than sufficient. I certainly recommend this stove to everyone.

    Review in response to the one star review. Its funny how people only provide one side of the story to put down a local company. Wish we were able to review and warn businesses of irrate customers who threaten, yell and scream yo get their way.

    I recently bought a Parlour Pellet 3000 for my house in the Catskills. The three primary reasons for the purchase of this expensive pellet stove is that it goes with my turn of the century decor, it fits nicely in a corner and doesn't take up a lot of room, and it burns all night with out refilling. My first two reasons were satisfied, and my third reason was mostly satisfied. I wanted a stove that heated through the night so that it would be warm when I work up. Most nights it does that, although occasionally it goes out in the middle of the night. I have sent the Thelin technical people emails about this problem with no response. The one time I got through on their unpublished number they were not very helpful. There is a lever under the stove which would appear to control the air intake, but none of their manuals refer to this lever, and they have not responded to my inquiries about it. Other than product support, I am happy with the stove, although with a $7,200 price tag installed and with extras it is quite a bit more expensive than the alternatives. But then there are no alternatives that have the look and technology associated with the stove. My impression is that this is a small business that needs to upgrade its customer support. The product is first rate.
