Well I just want to start off saying , I have been to a few different nail places in Carson City and none of them could do nails good . However I was told about Lucy at Mane Event , Wow I'm Super Happy I Found Her She Changed My Whole Attitude About My Nails ! She was Very Professional She knows Knowledge behind the nails she is gentle on the nails and Very Kind , The whole shop was a Very Comfortable Environment & Clean When Lucy was finished with my nails i asked her for a hug i was So Pleased ! Lucy had a heck of a job when I walked in my nails were so bad , But She did so Good on my nails I am still shocked . LOVE THE MANE EVENT & LUCY FOR DOING SUCH AN AMAZING JOB ON MY NAILS . ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL !! WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL CARSON CITY NV FEMALES / MALES WANTING QUALITY NAILS 5 STARS !!!!!! THANK YOU LUCY & LADIES SEE Y'ALL NEXT TIME

Found Ms Alexandria Estrada from my hairstylist (yeppers another salon LOL) and she raved about her! My current gal was having some difficulties and subsequently moved on from doing nails but BOY O BOY did I luck out with a complete SCORE finding Ms. Alex! She was able to fix everything with my past nail gal and I have been beyond pleased every since. Plus she puts up with all of my requests of could we make my nails this color this week or could we make them a wee bit rounder, etc. - she is hands down complete gem! I have fun, seeing what we can come up with next from different colors, designs and the salon has a plethora of colors, glitters and stencils to choose from here at Mane Event - check it out when you pop in! She and the other gals here get pretty creative with making flowers and designs and I'M LOVING IT! Alex offers different services too, so be sure to check those out! Her pedicures are Ahhhhmazing and you will be calgoned away to relaxation =D She also is a hairstylist and recently took on being a lash artist with a portfolio of some pretty amazing eyelash extensions that look - WOW!. She is professional, timely and FUN - I enjoy my time with her, relax while I am there, which is an added bonus. Thank you Ms. Alex! The shop is super bright, clean and all of the staff are warm and friendly - it's just a GREAT atmosphere all the way around! I would definitely recommend Alex and this salon to my friends and the person reading my review right now! So book your appointment NOW!

We all have 'that story'. You know, the story about the time you had to find a new hair salon...maybe you moved, maybe 'they' moved. Well, I moved to Truckee just after a year ago and was excited to support my new local salon, which I had seen in passing by. Simply put, they turned my hair orange (super brassy), tried to fix it twice and couldn't, wasted hours in the chair...ugh...I was starting to wonder if I would have to commute to San Francisco to get my hair done 'right'. And then.....MANE EVENT HAPPENED! After 2 rounds with Melody and a final round tonight with Laura, I am now not just as good as before, but have a hair style and color I have never been happier with. My hair is stubborn, and has the propensity to go brassy...but, Melody and Laura were 'hair heroes' as they strategically thought through color choices, and I was patient as we finally landed on perfection tonight. It also doesn't hurt that their salon is a very open, warm, and happy place. Thank you, Mane Event, for making me 'pretty again'!!!!
