BRITTANY K. was my stylist and she did a thorough consultation with me explaining color-theory in a way I could ACTUALLY understand! She helped me articulate what I didn’t like about my current color and in doing so also helped me find what I was craving in a new color. Brittany’s technique and execution made my visit incredibly enjoyable and comfortable and I left feeling not only refreshed and IN LOVE with my blonde again, but with another appointment scheduled because there is no way I’m missing out when the time comes for Brittany to work her magic in the future.

“No matter what beauty/health treatment you are having done, walking into this shop is a spa treatment for your senses. Smells divine ( in a natural, plant-based essential oils kind of way). They always offer me a welcome beverage and a health bar snack. Everyone is at the top of their field but I make sure to go quarterly so Laura can refresh my curls. No one has ever made my hair look so fabulous. The plant based products from European "Oway" line works wonders, but the great smell is something you can't find anywhere else. I feel really indulgent using this stuff. Ahhh bliss“

“I love this place! I see Malyn for my hair cuts and color and she nails it every time. Actually, to be totally honest, in my 33 years its the best hair cuts that I've ever consistently gotten. The vibe is really casual/relaxed/friendly, while still being clean and of high quality. They have a nail lady who does really cute designs (I haven't had her services yet but I plan to)! I'm from a big city and have been to all sorts of salons that feel overly boogie, expensive, and impersonal. This place feels like your mama's salon and its awesome.“

“Best kept secret in the Carson Valley! Melissa has been coloring and cutting my hair for 3 years. I was referred to her by another salon who didn't have availability. I'm used to driving to Truckee and paying for high end salons. I needed to find someone closer but it was one disaster after the next. Well I hit the jack pot when I found this place! The salon wasn't near as fancy but the service has always been as good as it gets. Melissa used to work at a high end salon in Union Square in SF. She was trained by the best. Prices very reasonable too!“

Time and distance separated us but I found her again! She *still* cuts my hair perfectly. She is always up to new ideas and switching my look around. I can honestly say not only do I feel great while I’m there but I can’t even put into words how happy my trips are to go to the salon. The compliments I receive on my hair are always a reflection on Jeannette and her team.

“Went to Rosa spur of the moment. Her salon is conveniently located right in Indian Hills. I have long thick hair and just needed to cut off all the unhealthy split ends. Rosa did great work and was very friendly. Would definitely go to her again.“

“I went to the Brow Bar today and unfortunately my eyebrow technician was 15 minutes late to the appointment because another client had run late. While I would have appreciated a call letting me know in advance that the appointment would be later than expected, the employees were all very kind and Taylor did an amazing job with my eyebrows and my sister's. The wax she used was also gentle and painless, and she helped us sample Benefit skincare products as well. Also, she was so quick that we weren't even late for the obligation we had afterwards--despite the late start to the appointment. Will be going back!“
