The best experience we could have had with installing new floor and baseboards throughout the whole house. The quality of this floor is nothing like what you will find at home depot or lowe's. I highly recommend checking the floor options here before buying anything anywhere else, the quality difference is night and day. Alex and Mariana are both local owners here in Carson City and it could not have been a more pleasant experience having them install the floor in our new home. Bobby is the most talented tile/countertop installer I've seen. I built a house and he did all the showers, tile floors, countertops and backsplashes. I was blown away by his skillset and attention to detail. He always went above and beyond. Very trustworthy. 5 stars for sure

This company saved the day at my dads wedding in Carson City. We hired another rental company that had mismatched short table cloths. It was only 3 hours until the wedding. We called them and they arrived with beautiful table cloths within 1 hour! It was a miracle! Very accommodating and on top of that the price was a amazing!

They cut hair uneven, and they cut the hair in the middle shorter than anything else so it just gets more uneven and uneven you have the bangs and then going back on the sides is really really short then it gets worse and worse I highly just don’t recommend going there also she rushed to get it done

I just got done with getting a haircut, and it’s the best haircut I have had in years. I am beyond happy with my experience here! This is the sixth high-end curl cut I have had. One in Australia, one in LA, and the rest in midtown Reno. You would think that there was nothing left to learn, but out of respect, I booked a new haircut session. MY HAIR FINALLY MAKES SENSE! I have wavy, fine hair with some pronounced ringlets throughout. Katie taught me so much in those three hours. It has been three days and it still looks great. I also left with a bag of swag to maintain the cut that was probably worth 1/3 of what I paid. Worth every penny to understand what you should be doing with your hair. Thanks Katie!

There's 1 way to do a hard part. Period. The part on the left was done by a 65ish y/o barber from a barbershop I won't mention. The old guy actually did an ok job on the rest, but the hard part is the most important part haha The one on the right was done by @bryaanblendzz. He basically saved my haircut without making me schedule an appointment. Which is great, because his next available appt was 2 weeks out I think. It took 5 min to do the hard part correctly on the other side before he stepped out to take a lunch. I just moved here, and I definitely found my new barber! All I asked him to do was the hard part and he made me look so much better!
Been going there for more than a year now, awesome spot for a fresh cut. I sit in Brian's chair, but all of the barbers there are great. Check them out if you can get in for a trim.

After not going here for 10 years Georgana remembered me and gave me a great cut. Remember to ask for the straight edge on the neck if you prefer it... I also can't believe her prices are so low compared to all the other barbers in the area.

Steph is the sweetest person ever , so easy to talk to. I had my nails done by a salon in Walmart and they messed up my nails bad ! They were so square and ugly. I messaged Steph to see if she can fix them for me and she did ! I love my nails now , i definitely will be coming back

No matter what beauty/health treatment you are having done, walking into this shop is a spa treatment for your senses. Smells divine ( in a natural, plant-based essential oils kind of way). They always offer me a welcome beverage and a health bar snack. Everyone is at the top of their field but I make sure to go quarterly so Laura can refresh my curls. No one has ever made my hair look so fabulous. The plant based products from European "Oway" line works wonders, but the great smell is something you can't find anywhere else. I feel really indulgent using this stuff. Ahhh bliss

I was looking for someone who could freshen my blonde up and help me get out of the dull-brassy phase I was stuck in. BRITTANY K. was my stylist and she did a thorough consultation with me explaining color-theory in a way I could ACTUALLY understand! She helped me articulate what I didn’t like about my current color and in doing so also helped me find what I was craving in a new color. Brittany’s technique and execution made my visit incredibly enjoyable and comfortable and I left feeling not only refreshed and IN LOVE with my blonde again, but with another appointment scheduled because there is no way I’m missing out when the time comes for Brittany to work her magic in the future.

I love this place! I see Malyn for my hair cuts and color and she nails it every time. Actually, to be totally honest, in my 33 years its the best hair cuts that I've ever consistently gotten. The vibe is really casual/relaxed/friendly, while still being clean and of high quality. They have a nail lady who does really cute designs (I haven't had her services yet but I plan to)! I'm from a big city and have been to all sorts of salons that feel overly boogie, expensive, and impersonal. This place feels like your mama's salon and its awesome.

Best kept secret in the Carson Valley! Melissa has been coloring and cutting my hair for 3 years. I was referred to her by another salon who didn't have availability. I'm used to driving to Truckee and paying for high end salons. I needed to find someone closer but it was one disaster after the next. Well I hit the jack pot when I found this place! The salon wasn't near as fancy but the service has always been as good as it gets. Melissa used to work at a high end salon in Union Square in SF. She was trained by the best. Prices very reasonable too!

I have been seeing JB since she owned THE CURRENT RAGE. Jeannette always cut my hair with such precision that it always grew out perfectly. If I have a bad cut, it shows up a few weeks later. Never with JB’s cuts. She did my hair and make up for my wedding in 9/1991.
Time and distance separated us but I found her again! She *still* cuts my hair perfectly. She is always up to new ideas and switching my look around. I can honestly say not only do I feel great while I’m there but I can’t even put into words how happy my trips are to go to the salon. The compliments I receive on my hair are always a reflection on Jeannette and her team.

I called to ask if they had time for a walk in, described what I wanted and was told to come over, might have a little wait. When I arrived they welcomed me. I had a meeting with Trevor and he said he would be able to work on me in a couple hours. It worked out perfectly, I came back got the ink and couldn't be happier. I covered an old tattoo I had had removed and now I have a beautiful new one!

I went to Black Harbor two years ago for my first tattoo at 18, I’m now at tattoo #5 and I won’t go to any other tattoo shop other than Black Harbor. Each and every artist there is fantastic in their art. Shane is my go to artist but everyone there shows love in their craft and reap for their clients. This is definitely the place to go to!
Cleanliness: They are the cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been in! They are constantly changing their gloves, cleaning their stations, and using fresh products on each person.

Had a blocked sewer line under the house. Couldn't be cleared with a snake, so they crawled under the house and cut the line where most of the blockage was located, cleared the blockage and re-glued the line. I won't use any other plumer.

Jolt is the best! This is the 2nd time we have used them for work at our home. We first used them in June 2023 and knew they were the ones to call for the latest work. Jerry, the owner, promptly came out and reviewed the project which consisted on installing a surge protector on the main panel, replace an exterior light fixture, and adding an exterior receptacle outlet. Jerry sent over the estimate promptly, and Heather and Jennifer were very helpful in answering our questions and scheduling the project. Much to our surprise, they were able to schedule us for the July 4th holiday. James and Jose arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time and did a great job with the work! Very professional and clean work! We were happy to see James, who did our job in June 2023, as he is very knowledgeable, thorough and professional!
I have a various problem, light, GFI, low voltage transformers. Never have had to have them come back. If one doesn't know the solution they have resources within the business to brainstorm or ask for advise.

Huge thank you to Stephen from Summit Cleaning Service. We have a 6 month old puppy and potty training has been hit and miss. I really wanted to wait to clean the carpets until he was fully trained but I just couldn't wait any longer. Stephen cleaned 2 bedrooms and a living room, total time 90 mins including a walk thru with light and game plan for now and in the future. He even suggested products to buy to help with any future accidents.Summit was very reasonable, I fully expected to pay double the price I was quoted, but then again I haven't needed to clean carpets before so I didnt really know the market.My home smells beautiful, the downstairs looks brand new again and our family was provided booties to wear while in that area until it completely drys.We will be using Stephen with Summit Cleaning for all our future needs.Service: Pet stain & odor removal

Put in a new granite counter. Astounding job! Backsplash MATCHES the counter pattern and there are NO SEAMS even though it is U shaped with a sink cutout. Waited months for cabinets, no problem, they held the granite and were out the day the cabinets were in, measuring and few days later a perfect install. Recommended highly.

Construction projects in Lake Tahoe are not the easiest for many reasons, but DG Hand turned out to be an excellent contractor for me and my project. I added a bathroom and refreshed 3 other bathrooms as well as updated other aspects of the house. DG Hand always worked with me to achieve my goals and delivered what they said they would do from the beginning. Zach, Jay and Mike were excellent. I’d work again with them in a second.
I wish I could give 10 stars!! I had an absolute rancid smell in my house, but not anymore!! Heather came out and took care of the unfortunate animal that had perished in my crawlspace. Communication was top notch from beginning to end and I'm so grateful for her! Professional and knowledgeable with a friendly touch! It was an extra bonus to see her empathy for the whole situation, including for the animal. Heather even followed up to make sure the odor was going away. We reached out to several companies regarding landscaping our lot for our new home in Dayton, and we are very happy we selected Tom Ediss Landscape, Inc. From our first meeting with Tom in October 2023, we just “clicked”. After a couple of meetings to discuss how we would use our yard and walking through the yard with Tom, he presented us with a plan of our yard that exceeded our expectations. Construction began in mid-February 2024, and we were very impressed with Rickey and his expertise at coordinating the project. He kept us informed every step of the way and included us in all decisions that came up during the construction. The foreman – Eduardo – and the crew were amazing! They were very detailed and precise throughout all phases of the project – especially with the construction of the retaining walls, stairway, and paver patios. We were grateful that Eduardo was able to anticipate the minor issues that came up during construction - like the grading that required adding a step in the patio and the addition of the control valves in each planter box. He worked with Rickey to develop a plan to quickly resolve any issues and construction went very smoothly. We are thankful that Rickey coordinated the timeline and construction with Bill at Shade Concepts so that the construction of the patio cover went smoothly as well. The most exciting part of the project was when the plants arrived and when Tom came to locate the plants and the crew planted them. The transformation was awesome! The project turned out better than we ever imagined, and we are excited to be able to spend time in our new paradise! We are grateful to Tom, Rickey, Eduardo, and everyone at Tom Ediss Landscape, Inc. for making our dream of having a yard that we can enjoy come true!

Ed's team originally removed a 30 foot tree between my house and a neighbor's house with no damage to either house or the shrubbery. While complimenting him on the job. I mentioned that my paver driveway was sinking in spots (tire track areas). He said that he installed and repaired pavers and gave me a very competitive bid as compared with two others that I had already obtained. I gave Ed's Landscaping the driveway job. All the pavers were removed, cleaned and replaced. Polymetric sand was used between the pavers to help stabilize them and limit water penetration. Prior to the paver replacement, the sandy subsurface was removed and replaced with stone and thoroughly compacted to prevent a recurrence of the sinking pavers. My 16 year old driveway looks brand new today. I was so pleased with Ed's Landscaping's work that I signed up for weekly yard service in March.

Their wait was around 2 months but the service they provided was great. All of them were friendly and let us know what was going on the entire time. I have two super huge/tall trees that needed trimming. I've never needed to get trimming before so I'm not going to comment on pricing but to me what I paid was well worth it. They really did a lot of work. I wanted to add they told us our power would be shut off and I was freaked out because it was so hot, they worked around it and it was never turned off.
I was impressed by the hustle of the team that was sent to my work to remove a tree and even more so by the chipper! The gentleman that gave me the bid, the gal that called to schedule, and the gents that worked so hard and cleaned up when finished were all kind and helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Another 5 stars to Elizabeth Parks, that was the fastest and most efficient filling I've ever had done, thank you SO MUCH for fitting me into your busy schedule. She took the time to explain what and why it happened and how to prevent it in the future. The dental assistant (I'm sorry I forgot her name!!) she was so very friendly and the whole staff there at Carson Tahoe Dental impressed me fully. I was in and out and un-numb in 46 minutes. Carson Dental Designs is super conveniently located on the west side of Carson just across the street from my eye doctor. I needed to find a new dentist as my old one of 20 years does not take my new insurance plan. This place takes all sorts of dental insurance and will show you a cost spreadsheet of the real costs so there's no surprises. The staff here is super accommodating and knows their stuff. The dentist Dr. Graber was friendly and let me know exactly what was gonna happen. I came in for an initial exam as a new patient. X-rays were done digitally and the resolution was so clear on the screen! They even have a super mini camera that takes a vid of your teeth close up so the doctor and YOU can see what's going on. He explained and showed me everything. I needed a new crown and a filling replaced. I was shown in detail on the screen what it looked like exactly and shown the cracks even on the old filling, so I knew it was really there. The filling was painless to replace and the crown was gonna be made right there in the office on this high tech digital machining device. No waiting a few weeks for a dental lab to make the crown and then come back again to have it installed. Ok, there's a $75 charge to do it the same day in the office, but that's well worth it! The crown went in easy, the machine took maybe 45 min to make it. I watched the doctor program the machine on the screen with a digital image of my teeth. My old dentist wasn't THIS high tech! I walked out with a new crown and filling and my insurance covered it all, except $75 to use that fancy crown making machine. Now I have cleanings scheduled here too. I like going to the dentist now!
Great chiropractor. I had been hurting for a few weeks after some traveling and heavy lifting. Two weeks of back pain then a week of neck pain and we found Clearview Chiro. I walked in with no appt and he took me right in! I literally walked out pain free. I highly recommend ?
This place is the best there is. Dr. Pastro is straight up (pun intended) the only reason I can stand upright and do all the athletic things I use to do.
I love The Joint. I have been to offices all over the country and love the ease of walking in on my own time. Yes, each chiropractor is different and has their own approach, BUT all of my experiences have been positive and I walk out feeling better than when I went in. What I like about the doctors at this practice is that they take the time to work on my neck to get it loosened up and it's easy to get to from Tahoe. I cannot afford the chiropractic care in Tahoe and The Joint fits into my budget.
The care quality of this chiropractor cannot be understated. I spent at least 10 visits to a chiropractor in Boulder who did nothing to help me. Doctor Ediss actually sourced the real cause of my chiropractic complaint and I felt 80% better after the first visit. Highly recommend him. Old-school care and spends quality time addressing your issues.

Once again, I am back to see one of my favorite doctors, Dr. Alan Tack. I have been a patient of Dr. Tack since moving to Northern Nevada. I had difficulty finding a dermatologist specializing in Mohs Surgery that would take my health insurance. My insurance company was the one that referred me to Dr. Tack. I wasn't expecting an insurance company's referral to be spot on. I couldn't be happier with the care given to me by Dr. Tack. Not only does he take his time explaining any concerns/procedures, but his surgical skills are impeccable. I have had 3 procedures done by him. The first two had little scarring, the third was just done yesterday. I'm confident the last procedure's scarring will be minimal based on past procedures. I encourage all family and friends to see a dermatologist annually and if you live in the Carson City/Reno/Tahoe/Sparks area make an appointment at Carson Dermatology/Dr. Tack.
I like this office. They are caring and will take the time to fix any ailments you have been dealing with. I highly recommend this Dermatology office to everyone!
Our experience was really great. Penny definitely has nervousness around vets and men, and Dr Pulver was fantastic with her. I really appreciated the time and effort spent with my nervous little punk. I have great confidence having Timberline as our lifelong vet because of this experience.
**Update** we are in year 2 of my very worried dog visiting Timberline for her check ups and everyone is so kind and considerate with Penny and her Big Worries. They have found a way for us to get her in the door and able to have her check ups and I am so grateful for their care!
