“I love visiting the Bedford Skin Clinic!I first started going about a year ago, while I was in the depths of postpartum. I was really struggling with my skin and at-home skin care routine. I decided to book a consultation with Katy, and she helped change my perspective on my skin and boost my confidence. Not only was there zero judgment for my lack of knowledge and (at that time) face-washing, but her vibe was radiant; she’s the girl you meet and you feel like you’ve known her forever!Katy suggested a simple and approachable routine for me with seasonal facials/ derma-planing (for both the skin health element and the new-mom-self-care element!). We discussed my confidence level, and she was patient and supportive of my apprehensions on certain services; her solution was a “take it slow” approach and I really appreciated that.There are many things that I believe set Bedford Skin Clinic apart from the other businesses, but this is already getting long so I’ll only share two, lol:One, was the level of professionalism and respect I felt when I walked through the door. No matter where you’re at in your journey, there’s no judgement. There’s no condescending “you seriously don’t use a vitamin c?!” tone. It’s so refreshing and it made me feel safe!Second, was the ‘before’ photo that I was asked to take. In a way it fostered trust for me; that there is genuine care and consideration into the recommendations being made, and that there’s a tangible way I get to eventually see improvements (which I absolutely am!) in my skin health! In my consultation, Katy gave me a few suggestions, told me to try some samples for a few days and then come back and make my purchases based off of how my skin felt after trying new products on my skin. It’s a huge win when a business respects their clients time and money!Honestly I could go on for a while, lol. I generally don’t write reviews, but I really wanted to highlight this place and Katy! She’s amazing, and I’m so grateful for her knowledge and approachable attitude towards skin health.
