The PINK Feather vs the WHITE Tuxedo Tailcoat Dec 20, 2022 - Recently Hubby’s White Tuxedo Tailcoat went into the care of Deluxe Dry Cleaners on Ilsley Ave, Dartmouth. It required a cleaning, as drinking red wine, and a White outfit, don’t always go well together. 🍷🙂 It became clear to the Cleaners, that removing the red wine stains from the White Tailcoat and Pants wouldn’t be a problem. The White Tailcoat on the other hand, proved to be more challenging, because after the initial Dry Cleaning process, it took on a Pink Color around the Chest Pocket area. Now the mystery…where did the Pink color come from? There was nothing Pink on the Tailcoat before the cleaning. After a bit of investigating, a bright Pink colored feather was found in the lining of a hidden chest pocket, and it appeared to be the culprit causing the new Pinkish color of the White Tailcoat. Once again the White Tuxedo Tailcoat was laundered, with great care & concern about the PINK stain coming out. The PINK Feather thought it had won and taken over it’s bright color against the White Tuxedo Tailcoat, but no, the White Tuxedo Tailcoat stood strong and proud and came out bright and white as freshly fallen snow. Now for those of you who are wondering where the Pink Feather came from in the first place??? Well it was from one of my Ballgowns, which frequently would shed Feathers when we danced. Hubby usually picks them up and he must have placed them in his pocket, and this one had found a secret hiding place. I'm sure we’ll be back to Deluxe Dry Cleaners after our cruise, as the red wine stains will probably be there once again. It was well worth the drive from the Bridgewater area to receive this type of outstanding service. Thank you Respectfully P & A
