Armitage hardware looks like a locksmith's commercial warehouse but they help the public as well. I was looking for a replacement brass backplate for my hundred year old front door lock. The knowledgeable owner didn't know of anywhere locally that would have one. He suggested replating the item and went through old business cards and found a local electroplating company that may be able to replate it. He then remembered that he had a box of used brass plates. I dug through them and bought a few - $4.00 each; they worked perfectly on my door. Then I went back for a new door knob set to fit the new back plate. The service was cheerful professional and helpful. I'd certainly recommend them for any locksmith issues.
