I am so happy with the beautiful cut Pauline gave me today. She listened to what I wanted and did it. When I got home my husband pronounced it "just lovely, perfect." This was the first time I have been to Amy's and it most assuredly won't be the last. My new salon of choice. I would highly recommend this place.

I've been going to Amy's since May 1998. I had recently moved back home to Cape Breton after living in Halifax for 40 years and had gone to a few salons but never bonded. I had been diagnosed with breast cancer about 8 months after I moved back home and was in shock. For some strange reason I wanted my hair done the day b4 I was having surgery ( you become crazy when this happens) I found Amy's number in the phone book and called for an appointment that day. She knew nothing about my health at the time but offered to take me. I didn't realize that she was closed and was taking me after hours. That's the type of person Amy is. To me she was an angel sent by my spirits to help me through a very difficult time in my life. Hope this helps people know who the real Amy is. I have been going there ever since.
