My Macbook had basically ground to a halt and I knew that it was beyond anything I could fix myself. I popped into Mac East on a Thursday aftenoon to chat through the situation and after a bit of time troubleshooting, it was confirmed that a wipe/OS reinstall was required. Since my device was acting up, it sounded like it might not be a straightforward process. However, less than 24h later I received a call that it was ready to go. My Mac is running much better now and I will return again the next time I need service.
