“We had such a wonderful experience at Adept Tattoos and Body Piercing Studio, especially with Bo Bagnell.
He pierced both of our children’s lobes in one appointment, and from start to finish, the experience was incredibly positive. The receptionist and Bo were so patient while we sat in the waiting room and let the kids warm up to the space and atmosphere. They were very nervous and it honestly took close to an hour for them to work through their nerves after we arrived. Not once did anyone rush us.
Bo encouraged them to ask questions, showed them the earrings beforehand, and gave them lots of information — enough to prepare them without scaring them. I really appreciated that he requires the child to clearly tell him themselves that they want their ears pierced before he will proceed. That meant a lot to me as a parent.
He also gave them little techniques to help it hurt less, like taking a deep breath in and blowing out hard like they were blowing out a candle, and wiggling their fingers. My son noticed a Rubik’s Cube on the shelf, and Bo let him mix it up while he was getting pierced and promised to solve it afterward — which he did! My son was so impressed.
After each child finished, he gave them a small Highland cow figurine, which they absolutely loved. My daughter sees hers as a special reminder of how brave she was that day.
Bo answered every question I had and was so friendly and reassuring throughout the whole process.
Four days later, we had an issue where my daughter’s earrings came out and both ears closed within 24 hours. Bo re-pierced them and put in new earrings free of charge, which we were so grateful for.
We will absolutely be back for any future piercings. Highly recommend!“

Lucy listened, consulted about the colours, made sure that he was comfortable with the placement and what she was going to do before she started. She was very gentle and very conscientious regarding sterile technique. Lucy is also a very kind person and was very welcoming. The shop was extremely clean and staff are very welcoming too. And Lindsay, the goddess of everything, has a fantastic play list.“
