Salazar Road Veterinary Clinic

Our dogs have received stellar care at Salazar for many years. All Salazar vets and techs are excellent in expertise, communication, and compassion. On our most recent visit for Ellie’s annual exam, we got to meet Dr. Clara Maxam who was also outstanding. We love that she followed up with an email of helpful information. Reception staff are really great too.

My husband had a good experience with Dr.Clara. Our cat is extremely aggresive so I was worried about her going there but it went well. My cat scratched the Dr and she remained calm and professional. I apologize on behalf of my cat, she is very difficult when brought outside of the house. Thank you again to all the staff that dealt with my cat.

We’re from Arizona and were camping in Red River when our very healthy 16 year-old dog, Olive, suddenly became extremely ill. She could hardly walk, wasn’t eating or drinking, and had a seizure.
We called as were driving from Red River and hoped we’d be able to get in. The office wasn’t open yet so we left a voicemail. We received a call back before their office even opened, and the woman who helped us was so helpful and kind. She gave us an appointment time, but said they’d get us in sooner if we got there earlier. She also gave us a heads up that if they had to do bloodwork and other tests, it could get costly.
