Micah does such wonderful work and she really cares about your dog and their comfort level. She will send you home with things to work on with your dog if they’re uneasy during their appt. I will NEVER take my poodle anywhere else to get groomed in Santa Fe. She’s top notch and does a beautiful very meticulous job. You will be very pleased with Micah at The dog Different. As I said, she’s reasonable and very caring.

I am a repeat customer for our dog Grace. She's a large breed who isn't thrilled with grooming. Mika, the owner, manages her with calm thoroughness. She always looks lovely when she's done.

I was recently refereed to Micah and I am so grateful that I was! I adopted my sweet rescue, Tashi, a few months ago. She has had a tough life prior to coming home with me. You can tell that Micah is incredibly thoughtful and considerate with pups, while also being incredibly detailed in her grooming standards. Her compassion/sweetness with the doggos was what was most important to me, considering how fearful and uncomfortable Tashi can be. But, the cherry on top is how thorough the grooming is. You won't find a better groomer! Even though this was my first time with The Dog Different, I hope to be a forever customer. Thank you, Micah! - Amy and Tashi :)

From The Dog Different (Grooming by appt)

The Dog Different was founded on happy dogs groomed by trained groomers. No dog will be groomed(haircut) by anyone who has not been to a well established grooming school. The dog is the first consideration in this shop. Owners are welcome to stay and watch their dogs being worked on. Dog are left loose unless completely necessary to kennel. Happy dogs, workers, and owners is the main goal.
