Working in collaboration with Green Star Builders enabled us to realize a home beyond our imagining. Jesse took our ideas and created a light-filled, comfortable and peaceful environment that we love. His careful siting made the best use of the lot, framing the landscape features to full advantage. His work is meticulous and he is a master at working with steel, incorporating it seamlessly into the overall design of the interior and exterior of the home. I own Holz llc, a cabinet and furniture fabrication business in Santa Fe, and I had the fortune to work for quite a few talented builders over the years. But working with Green Star Builders and owner Jesse is always an outstanding experience. His enthusiasm, integrity and fun and quirky 'Mad scientist' spirit always creates a great bond with the owners and us, the tradespeople working for him. Jesse is impeccably honest, responsive, highly ethical in his personal dealings as well as his relationship to the environment, and a truly interesting, nice man. He is a joy to work with, and his work shows the depth of his skill and commitment to quality. There is no one I'd rather build a home with.
