We used Active Home Inspections to inspect a home we are in the process of buying. Robert is very thorough, very efficient, scheduled the inspection quickly, and was very reasonably priced. He has a no nonsense demeanor, which I appreciate as a homebuyer. Robert did a great job of communicating throughout the process and made his concerns regarding the house clear. I needed a mold inspection as part of the process to sell my home. This was for a second opinion, as another group claimed that there was mold, but would not provide documentation. I spoke with Robert on Friday afternoon, and he had a tech out at 10 AM on Sat. The tech was friendly and efficient, and he explained exactly what he was doing. The results were available on Monday, and there was no mold. He was able to provide a certificate to this effect. I highly recommend this firm. Although I only used them for the mold question, I would not hesitate to use them in the future for a full inspection.

Absolutely terrific working with robert at active home. I was not able to be in town during the inspection and he was incredibly thorough and clear and helpful and gave me an understanding as if I were there.
