“I see so many negative reviews when I feel like a ton should be placed on the urgent care receptionist as opposed to the actual care received.. the urgent care receptionist, in my anecdotal experience has been, at worst, hostile. Although, the labor and delivery nurses, mostly, we're comforting and supportive. Not to mention my delivery doctor, Doctor Roberts. I had scheduled for an induction for labor for my child, but after a few hours of no progress, they thankfully performed a cesarean section. The night nurses were terrific during this entire procedure and what had followed after. I cannot give them enough of my gratitude. There were a couple of instances were things were not so smooth, such as the receptionist, but also a nurse that had placed my catheter in incorrectly, and another nurse being a bit insensitive about my recovery, as she commented on my legs being to "big" when they were still very much swollen from all the fluid from my epidural, and she happened to be the nurse assigned to my recovery, and was told to walk me up and down the delivery unit daily. I've been diagnosed as morbidly obese, mind you, but I was persistent in my recovery and was consistently doing my utmost. She had made me so uncomfortable, that by my last couple of days, I pushed my exhausted husband and child to go with me so that she wouldn't. Besides that, the care I recieved was amazing, and I was blessed with a beautiful healthy son.“
