This is what a $160 perm that was supposed to be $140 looked like immediately after Pearl removed the rods today. I asked for well-defined curls but not a poodle perm. I told her I have hard-to-curl hair. She didn't ask me what size rods I wanted, based on prior perms; she chose and told me it would be fine. She batted my hand away from my head when I reached up to touch the back. She let it process for barely 20 minutes without any heat and left the neutralizer on for only 3 minutes. She also didn't let me see the \"test\" curl, which she checked at the sink as she had the water running to rinse me out. To add insult to injury, Pearl was affronted that I had any issue with this 'service'. The bottom line is that Pearl does what she wants to your hair. Not what you want. If you're fine with that and do not question her, you should be happy.

I have been with pearl for years, she is truly an artist but today was shocking. When I called to schedule I told her what I wanted. I went in today again stating what I wanted. Pearl did not honor my request and did what she wanted. I am very disappointed. I paid the price plus tip and expressed my disappointment tactfully still charged the expense with no offer to repair. I just wanted to leave before I became angry and did so. I will not return or give a good reviewService: Shampoo & conditioning

I went today with my hair a Disaster mess, and Pearl cut, colored, highlighted and styled my hair. She was such a professional and very sweet lady. She made me feel so at ease. I highly recommend her work to anyone who is looking for a stylist. Guaranteed you won't be disappointed. Thank you Pearl for making me look 10 years younger.Services: Hair styling
