Hellen does an amazing job. Smile that lights up the room. All them are very good. If I could critique one thing would be to open on time. My feet feel amazing every time I leave.

I cannot express how happy I was to stumble upon this nail salon, and after the first one I went to turned me down. Elsa was the goat both with top notch service and fire nails, her and Johnny so welcoming from jump! They had me cracking up and my nails turned out so fire by Elsa, thanks gurl I'll be back definitely all the way from San Antonio. She was welcoming like that to everyone coming through the door! Shout-out to my pedicurist too!

Did you ever watch Claws (TV Series 2017-2022)? I thought it was unique and downright funny. Here's a brief interaction between characters on the show: Polly: "Hey good call. I've been meaning to try this place." Dr. Ken Brickman: "Yeah, Yelp gave it three stars. That's two stars better than anything else in Palmetto." Polly: (drumming the table) "Yeah. Yelp's great." Brickman: "Yeah, it's great." After all these years, Yelp is still great for all those insider tips and info I crave about businesses. Enter Darling Nails and Spa in Hobbs, NM. This place has so much potential, but it fell drastically into a swampy goo pit of mediocre customer service. I went here because my aunt has gone here on occasion. My first encounter I was a walk-in and waited an hour just to walk out because no one followed up with me or told me how long it would be. Never had that problem anywhere I went when I lived in the Greater Los Angeles area for the last ten years. The next day (10/7/2022) I decided to go early. It was a few minutes after 9AM - their opening time - when I tried the door which was locked. Two other customers who I later learned had actual appointments drove off shortly thereafter. The lady who did my nails was nice, but she hurried the job, neglecting dead skin around some of my nails and not filing them quite as nicely as I later realized I wanted. I sat down at 9:10 and paid with my credit card at 9:45. I opted for a "cat eye" effect with gel color #97 which went over black. It turned out really cool for October/Halloween vibes. My total for shellac removal and a gel mani was $42.72. That's on the high end for Hobbs, America. Not sure if I'll return.
