“Ashley is great! I had a bad haircut from a month ago and decided that the cheap chain haircutters are no longer worth it. I have a convention to go to this weekend and decided now was the time to get it fixed. I texted Ashley while crossing my fingers that she had an opening. She got me in the next day. “I looked up balayage specialists in Albuquerque and I found Rachel after some digging. I wanted a caramel to honey to light blonde balayage that blended well into my mousy darkish brown hair. I didn't want anything too bright or ashy. She did a fantastic job and did exactly what I wanted. She also gave me a nice trim and added some layers. I am so so so happy. She finished a bit before time was up too which let me keep to my schedule. So when she tells you a time, she sticks to it. I am so pleased and happy with the results.I had such a joy chatting with her, it can be tiresome finding conversation with your hairstylist but she makes it easy and the occasional silences aren't awkward. She is very easy going, personable, and kind person. I felt cared for. She has a variety of beverages and snacks at her salon. Her salon grade products are also very reasonably priced. I got some purple shampoo for 5 bucks, and the bigger container was about 22. It's super welcoming in her salon and filled with well cared for plants, which adds a cozy and warm atmosphere. We also watched a movie while she was doing my hair which was a first for me! I couldn't recommend her enough. I'm looking forward to being a regular client of Rachel.“
