“My family and I were on vacation in New Mexico 2 weeks ago. We had our 15 year old and 14 year old dogs with us. Unfortunately, the time had come for my 2 dogs that I had since they were 8 weeks old. It was 11 pm, and we were not from this area (Silver City, NM). We had no idea what to do, but something had to be done. My dogs were suffering. So I went onto Yelp and found Dr. Brown and the Town & Country Veterinary Clinic. I spoke with Dr. Brown on the phone for a little bit. He was very patient and understanding, even though it was late at night. Dr. Brown told me to bring my dogs into his clinic that evening. Once we arrived (20 minutes later), Dr. Brown examined both of my dogs and gave us our options. Unfortunately, both of my dogs were old, and were beginning to suffer. We had to make a very difficult decision, and decided to put both of our dogs down. Dr. Brown and his assistant (I believe her name was Mary) were both very compassionate, understanding, and patient with us. Our trip did not go as planned at all, but Dr. Brown and Mary made this as comforting as possible for us. I want to thank Dr. Brown and Mary very much. You are good people, and good at what you do. Thank you again.“
