I just discovered this place and started using it several months ago when nobody else had space due to spring break.
They have booking available online and a painless check-in (limited to about 8 or 9 in the morning and 4 or 5 in the afternoon). I've had grooming done and it was great.
These are sweet people and they have a nice indoor kennel. They kept me updated including pictures during the stay. You take your own dog's food, although they helped when I didn't realize that the first time!
Great service for my new home construction. Victor was really knowledgeable on the way I wanted my house. Highly recommend!

We had the most beautiful wedding here. Oscar and his team made sure that everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Los Portales is a great place to hold a wedding with an intimate setting. Staff was really nice and helpful. Our wedding took place at the end of September, and the weather and climate that day was perfect for us. Everything turned out nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue.

The owner was super nice, he talked to me most of the way!!
But....all we did pretty much all the time was walk. I really wanted to feel like I was on a horse...we ran just a little bit. Didn't do any throttle. The path we took was kind of boring too. Just around his family pecan tree farm...no forest, no streams, just dry looking.
Maybe I have been spoiled in Quebec, Canada with horseback riding in the forests and across rivers. I will change my 3 to a 4 stars.
