The husband had a visit with a specialist today as a follow-up to his E.R. visits. Now we have contradicting diagnoses. Where there should be clarity, its starting to feel a little like a pissing contest between the doctors of Presbyterian and I'm outraged. This is not the way to go in treating patients. It's disgusting.

I was there two days in a row. The first day They left me in the hallway for hours having panic attacks while hundreds of staff passed me and not once did they ask if I was okay. because I was in the hallway, I was the only one who saw the girl in the room across from me keep opening and closing her door and I was the only one who saw the blood. I, as a patient, had to go keep this girl calm and stop the bleeding from where she had ripped her IV out until a doctor finally showed up about 10 mins later. The next day, I was there again, with an obvious overdose. They asked me who the president was and I said Bill Clinton. I was sick of their blatant negligence so when I began arguing they threw me outside and left me on the street corner alone and cold and dying. I told several nurses that they were leaving me there to die and they said nothing. These people are sadists and it is truly terrifying that these are the people who are supposed to help us.

I went to Kaseman ER a few nights ago... it was by far the most horrible experience I have ever had in a medical setting. The staff at the check in desk were incredibly rude and very cold to every single person who came in. They rolled their eyes at patients as they explained what brought them in and did not lift a finger to help anyone who needed it.... Even something as simple as giving a woman with a cut arm some paper towels or a gauze pad to control the blood was blown off; they refused her request and told her to wait for triage. I witnessed multiple staff members mocking patients by acting out their symptoms and pointing at the patient in the waiting room, this is disgusting behavior and incredibly unprofessional. The majority of staff members that were caring for patients in rooms were very cold and rude; There were multiple instances where a staff member would leave my room and make fun of me using my name right outside the door where I could hear everything they said. Every simple request I made was not met even hours later (example: could I get a blanket?, can I have a cup of water? etc); Even asking to be taken to the restroom was met with eye rolling and scoffs like I had completely ruined their day and seriously offended them by asking for help. If you need medical care, this is not the place to go. The only good thing about my visit was the radiology technicians; they were all very polite and very kind to me when no one else in the building cared.
