I took my daughter's car to Autopro in Mount Pearl because another garage that had performed a seasonal tire changeover indicated that her brake pads were "down to 1 mm, basically metal on metal". I was in a hurry since I was visiting from out of town. They accommodated me within a few hours. Autopro discovered that the information I had been given was incorrect and there was up to 4mm of pad remaining. Since I had an appointment for a full service in a couple of weeks at my regular service centre, they advised that I could wait. I really appreciate their honest assessment, at their expense of not taking a job.I would certainly go back when I actually need... read full review
