“First time at Stephanie's today. I can't say enough good things about my experience! Stephanie booked my appointment after hours ( which I sooo appreciate as I have a job interview tomorrow) and did an amazing base color with purple streaks in the bangs. The cut she gave me is super cute and sassy. The atmosphere is relaxing and Stephanie is very personable. She is an artist of hair! I recommend her highly!Thanks Stephanie!!!“

“Umm…Amanda was amazing and it was the best haircut my daughter has ever had, it was exactly what she wanted. My daughter started with inspo pics, and Amanda honed in by asking questions about what they were looking for. Amanda really took her time to understand what my daughter wanted. She spent time and explained how to style the hair to get the desired look of the inspo pics too. It was really a great experience!“

“I’ve been going to Jessie for almost five years now. She always does a wonderful job on my hair and I receive tons of compliments. Her salon is small and quaint, very clean and decorated nice. Every time I’ve been there it’s been just Jessie and sometimes her mom is there helping her do the washes. They both give a heavenly scalp massage! Jessie is so good that my daughter started using her and loves how Jessie cuts her hair as well. Her cuts are always very precise and crisp if that makes sense. A hair cut is around forty dollars (depends on hairs length), that’s for the cut. If you get a blow dry and style add approx $30 to that.“

“Norma at Echelon is outstanding! I was trying to transition from a medium brown to my natural gray color, and in the process managed to turn at least 3/4 of my long hair an unattractive brassy blond color with an ugly orange hue. My hair looked really unattractive, and for over two years I could only wear it in a pony tail. During that time I'd gone to FOUR other salons. One said they couldn't fix the color, one didn't want to take the time to fix the color, one would ONLY try to fix the color if I cut off at least four (or more) inches of hair (I want to keep my long hair) and one salon wanted me to pay an unbelievably exorbitant amount for the process! Luckily I was referred by a friend to Norma. Not only is she a sweet and delightful person, she completed the process in two sessions a week apart at what I thought to be a very reasonable price. After the first session I was delighted, but after the second session I nearly considered it a miracle and had to give her a hug. I am SO PROUD of the fantastic job she did with the color that I can show it off to everyone and finally wear my hair down again. Not only does Norma do a great job, she is delightful and the salon is great. When you first go there they have a form you fill out to determine how you like to be treated, which I found outstanding. The staff is gracious, and Norma is flexible and considerate; so much that I actually let her cut off a little of my hair. She was wonderful about doing exactly what I asked. I have already made my next appointment with Norma, and I look forward to going back to Echelon again.“

“I have lived in Jersey for 10 years now and have struggled to find someone who actually cared about giving me the haircut and color I wanted. When I booked my appointment with Katie it was out of desperation after another failed cut and color a year prior. I brought him some pictures but had little hope it would help. Katie spent a good 20 mins talking everything over with me. She really wanted to make sure she understood what I liked about each photo and what I didnt. Other hairdressers I found listen for 5 mins and then make up their mind and you just have to hope they heard you. It was so refreshing to have someone repeating back to me what they thought I wanted and making adjustments as necessary. I cut off a lot of hair and was pleased when Katie told me it could be donated. My hair looks amazing, she did a great job of giving me highlights that look lived in and making sure when I pull my hair up you can't see the streaks.(this has always bothered me in the past) I'm actually excited to go back because I was treated as an individual and I truly believed she wants everyone to love their hair and be happy. She used an ashier Robert but assured me if I don't live it after a week she will retone it for me. How is that for customer service. I'm super happy but it's a great feeling to have finally found a hairstylist I love.“

“The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The only drawback was that the woman who serviced me was talking with me the whole time, which I didn't always want. However, I don't blame that entirely on her; even though I would've preferred to not talk, she was incredibly personable made me feel more comfortable in the conversation than most people do.“
