“This salon is nice but a little dated. Some of the nail techs do a great job others do an okay job. The prices are very good for the area but you need the find one of the good techs like Helen. Helen does good nails but her gel pedicure was not to my standard.“

“Ever since Covid I’ve been to 4-5 different places for a hair cut, nothing has been working, to many places with poor service. My wife has been going here for a while and I have it a shot. Loved it! Jen was fantastic, I was in and out in 15 minutes. Prices are reasonable and I loved she has special pricing for police/military even though
I’m not either of them, just the respect she offers it

“I get pedicures regularly, and generally go to Kim's in Maplewood Village. A few months ago, Kim's made me wait a very long time while taking other patrons first, and I decided to try another place for a change.

I drove to downtown Millburn and walked into Ambrose Salon, who immediately took me. Unlike Kim's, the Ambrose pedicure chairs provided a vibration and consistent water temperature with bubbling water. The pedicure chair offered a rolling massage good for up to 30 minutes, which was very relaxing.

My pedicurist took her time in giving me a regular pedicure ($30), complete with a heel soak bag in oil which was used while she polished my nails. The pedicures I get at Ambrose last me more than 3 weeks, much longer than any other pedicures in the area. I highly recommend them.“

“Loved the service from the ladies that work here.. I didn't catch if they used brand-new utensils or freshly cleaned tools on my feet but I hope they did. Always look out for that because reusing dirty tools on clients is a state board violation. I went for a basic pedicure which cost me $25 and then a $5 tip so all together $30.. the experience was somewhat quick but pleasant. The only thing I ask is if they are speaking Spanish... NOT to talk about people while they're there... because I'm black and they didn't know I speak Spanish so i understood everything .. otherwise than that id go back. Place was clean oh btw i added my own crystals to my toe in the picture. They said they couldn't do chrome on my toes for some reason oh and they charge you a fee too use your card“
