Extremely helpful supply counter even for pesky homeowners like me. These guys set me up with some 8" duct pipe and parts with no fuss. Didn't bother them in the least that I wanted to look at three different things before finally buying one. I didn't shop around but duct work and such is just plain sheet metal, cheap. So if you need a vent cover of nearly any size, material (steel or aluminum) or color, you should head straight to DASCO and not waste your time feeling lost in the aisles of a big orange or blue store. Also sells furnaces and serious equipment, I've never dabbled in that :)

Conveniently located of RT.10 on whippany rd (Between the Bayer Office Complex and Rt. 10) is a distributor for all of your HVAC needs. They're open to the general public and were really willing to talk me through my needs on a small home project. Sometimes these places can be hard to get help when all the tradesmen are there as they get personal attention but I went on a Saturday morning and had the guys undivided attention. Now that I know where it is and how expansive their in stock inventory is I'll be sure to revisit, hopefully with a bigger project next time.
