I had actually tried to rip out the sub-floor myself however, it ended up being too difficult as I found out later, it was glued and nailed to floor below it.<br><br>I was very impressed with, the owner (Andy). He did exceptional work throughout the entire process. When the floor had been ripped out he found some rotted wood that was part of the foundation that he had concerns about. He ended up replacing it at no extra cost to me.<br><br>I ended up hiring him again to replace my ceiling that wasn’t level and again he did exceptional work. I was very surprised how quality his work was considering how affordable he was compared to other quotes I had gotten. “Tim and his team did a great job replacing our entire roof as relatively new home owners (5 years in). I knew he was the right person to work with when he came out to complete our quote. He fixed a small issue for us without even charging for it or having our agreement for his quote (very fair and competitive) in writing. They took care of our covered patio area and matched the wood ceiling where our old skylights were removed. Changed parts of our roof with rotted plywood and added flashing that was never there from before. Any issues were addressed promptly and they finished the job in 1 day. My experience with American Home Concepts was one of the very best.<br><br>To start, Casey showed up on time and wrote out a meticulously detailed estimate right on the spot. No waiting days or weeks for an estimate. He asked a long serious of questions that helped us identify exactly what we wanted. He made astute suggestions and provided some fresh ideas, but was never upselling. In fact, he probably saved us money with his ideas.<br><br>Amazingly, we were able to choose exactly when we wanted the project to start. “My roof has had issues with ponding water due to an incorrect pitch, and after it recently developed a leak I wanted to correct the underlying issue. I spoke to a number of roofers who only wanted to put another layer on top of the existing roof, but Top Tier wanted to actually fix the problem.  They proposed removing the existing roof where it was leaking, installing tapered insulation, adding a second drain to affected area, and then installing new granulated torch down over the entire roof.  Additionally, I decided to have the siding on that wall replaced to eliminate all potential sources of water getting into the house.<br><br>From the start Sean was on top of the entire process.  He showed up on time, sent the estimate the next day, answered all of my questions, and had the job scheduled within a few weeks.  The roofing crew was awesome – they got the job done quickly, cleaned everything up, and were respectful of the neighbors.  When the siding crew came the following week they discovered significant damage to the framing and sheathing. I was concerned because of how bad some of the damage was but they came up with a plan and went straight to work getting everything repaired. The mark of a great contractor is how they deal with the unexpected once a job starts, and Top Tier went above and beyond.  The new roof and siding look amazing and the quality of work is top notch. Pricing for the job was incredibly fair, especially with the additional framing and repairs. I can’t recommend Top Tier enough, if you need a new roof make sure to give them a call.“
