I have been taking my clothes to Ivani for over 30 years and I have NEVER been disappointed with her work. Her alterations are always perfect, her prices are reasonable and your items are returned promptly. Yes, I have tried other tailors but none of them can compare to her. Honestly, I live in another state now and I give my items to relatives in NJ to take to Ivani for alterations. I won't trust anyone else with my clothes. Ivani is an artist with a needle and thread!“

“DO NOT allow this place to repair or alter your clothes. I recently brought in two jackets to have the sleeves taken up a half inch. On both jackets, only one sleeve was altered which is absurd. On the sleeves that were altered, the lining was left unfinished and the sleeves now appear twisted. I would have been better off attempting to tailor the jackets myself.

Edit: I took the jackets back in and the owner/manager had them fixed within 2 days. Everyone makes mistakes, these guys owned theirs and made it right. I’ve been a repeat customer since. Also the dry cleaning prices are very reasonable.“

I have sent many articles of clothing to be dry cleaned at Joy's and I've always been happy with their work, from delicate satin Indian outfits to multilayered heavy dresses and outerwear, the clothes always come out better than they arrive. Recently, I just had my wedding. They steamed my poofy ballgown wedding dress with so many layers to prepare for the wedding and it came out looking perfect at the wedding. The day of the wedding, someone spilled espresso martini all over my dress and I had dirt stains all over the bottom. Somehow, they were able to get all the stains out and the dress looks totally new. The customer service is also amazing and they are always so fun to talk to. They walked me out to my car down the block and carried the wedding dress for me because it was so big and heavy. I would definitely come back with any of my clothes and trust them with everything!“
