Dr. Alan Schlussel is one of the most thorough, caring and compassionate doctors you will ever encounter. For the past year, Dr. Schlussel has treated my dry eye and allergy issues. He also alerted me about my very high eye pressures which sent me to an ophthalmologist for surgery to save my eyesight. If you need an eye exam or are suffering from discomfort due to dry eye or allergies, I cannot recommend Dr. Schlussel more. His team, Annette, Francesca, and Brenda are all wonderful, kind and accommodating. I am incredibly grateful to have found such a skilled, knowledgeable, and professional optometrist as Dr. Schlussel. His office in West Orange, NJ, provides a welcoming and pleasant environment, and his staff is exceptional—always accommodating, understanding, and highly professional. I was diagnosed with meibomian gland dysfunction in March 2023, and under Dr. Schlussel’s care, I began IPL treatment. After a full year of treatment, my eyes feel better than ever. Since July 2024, I have been in the maintenance phase and diligently follow all of Dr. Schlussel’s recommendations to ensure continued eye health.
