“I’ve been a customer of Hamilton since I was discharged from the hospital after suffering from a stroke. I was unable to shave myself and my whiskers were rubbing against my chest just below my neck. It became raw and intolerable. Hani was first introduced to me by Merci who owned and operated a small business on Liberty Place in Weehawken. Mercy had been cutting my hair since the late 1980’s-early 90’s. Introducing me to Hani was great because I didn’t have to go far for GREAT service. It took quite some time before I could drive a car again but, Hani being local I was able to walk to his place of business. He always does a great job and takes time to get to know all his customers. Often quiet is what I like most. It’s become like an enjoyable therapy for me. I would highly recommend Hani for a haircut and/or shave. He’s currently at a small shop called Belky’s on Highwood Terrace just off Park Avenue. That would be opposite 37th Street in Union City. Great guy who provides excellent service. I pretty much never have to wait, they listen carefully to what I want, make suggestions if I ask for them, and then get to work delivering a great haircut, every time. All of the barbers are consistent and talented, and they have very low employee turnover. They don't quiz me about how my day is going or where I'm from or what I do, which I really appreciate.
