“They provided aides quickly when no other agency could. Jessie was one in a million. Couldn't do enough for us. They met the days I needed. Only down side is must take 4 hours a day 5 days a week. We probably could have done with fewer hours a day . But Worth the extra time to have competent aides.“

“We hired 1st Choice Home Health Care to take care of our mom and we could not be happier. We called 1st Choice in need of home health care for our mom after surgery. Within 24 hours, we met with Angela, Nurse Administrator, to have our in-home assessment. Angela was professional, thorough and very patient during the assessment and really took the time to listen to our family to help determine what care would serve our mom best. “As a son, it was quite hard to get my father to get onboard with a caregiver. He was quite resistant to change. Things changed when we hired Always There. “**UPDATE** Received a call this morning from the local finance team in NJ and they apologized for the misinformation, saying they don't know why the rep in India told me what he told me. Since I paid by CC, they can refund it back to the card with the normal 5-10 biz day wait. Updated the rating to a 4. Original Post: Hard to select an appropriate star rating because the therapists we had were wonderful, BUT I can't get past the outsourcing and their SOPs. We had Ashley and Allison for PT and OT, and they were both so good to my parents in every way. Understanding and gentle and helpful and friendly. And for that reason I would recommend. They kept us updated on the paperwork, kept in contact if they had to cancel or change the schedule, were understanding when we had to cancel due to illness or other. Just really couldn't have asked for any better care. BUT I made a payment on the patient portal and the payment was duplicated somehow either from my end or their end. Whatever, that happens. But this was over 2 months ago. I just discovered the issue now when reviewing my cc payments and bills, which included a new bill asking for payment for recent services. The new invoice amount was less than the overpayment, so it should have already been covered by the overpayment and the account should have shown a credit. Instead, they were asking for more money. If I wasn't reviewing my CC statements at the same time, I would have paid this invoice as I know it was outstanding. I had to call India who is now acknowledging the overpayment and told me they will refund the difference via check, and that it will take ONE TO TWO MONTHS because of their "official process" it has to go through. Bad bad SOP on resolving the overcollection. I'm convinced if I hadn't noticed the error they would have kept it. Time will tell if I'll see the refund.“
