I'm a hair dresser of 30 years & my friends hair was burned off after Kathy had used a matrix opti-smooth treatment. There was only 3 inches left of her hair that had been down to her shoulders. The ends were severely frayed, broken like a bad razor haircut that was uneven but it was hair that had melted and broken off from chemical damage. The treatment emits formaldehyde during the heat from the blow drying process. Which for A salon that is promoting clients that have hair loss & thinning hair this process is one of the single worst ways to destroy and cause hair loss itself.
