The only salon I go to in union city-the owner is great and welcoming and the employees are just as nice. It can get pretty busy here but usually the wait time isn't so bad. Fanny does hair to perfection I must say-the only person who's never burned my hair to get it straight. Amazing. My only complaint is that these people do not speak a lick of English! I understand union city is primarily a Spanish neighborhood but in today's age it just seems rude for people to move to this country and not speak the language of the country. After using my phone to communicate how I want my hair (google translate is awesome) I've never had to really specify again and they always know what I want. Overall I'm really happy this place is only a few blocks away from where I live.
