“Loved everything about working with Joe Finizio and Sons. Joe provided excellent guidance and landscape design suggestions, and he worked with me to realize my "natural elements only" vision. This was a one-week project, and the crew (professional and polite) was on site every morning at 8 AM and left the job site clean at the end of the day. The project included the demolition of existing stone walkway and designing/rebuilding it, the removal of all existing landscaping on the property, and aeration/topsoil/seeding of lawn areas. I look forward to the next phase which will include new landscape design and plantings.“

John Kohut, the owner, is a respectful, kind and an extremely hard-working professional who is easy to talk to in English or Spanish. He takes the time to listen to your thoughts and visions and makes your dream come true.

John and his crew always have a smile on their face, work from dawn until dusk, and always clean up at the end of each day. Our project was completed in record time because of their amazing work ethic and efficiency. Everyone is highly trained and takes extra precautions to do the project in the safest manner.

If you are able to get an appointment with John Kohut, you are very lucky, for this company is in high demand because of their gorgeous results! Many thanks John and crew for transforming our property into an enchanted garden with a sod play area. We absolutely love it!! Also, they expanded our driveway and landscaped beautifully on both sides. Additionally, they built 3 sets of durable steps, 3 retaining walls using boulders and a gorgeous brick-bordered bluestone walkway leading up to our house. The details and accents used are stunning. Earthy materials were incorporated, like rocks and boulders, so that we could have a more natural look on our property.

This was not an easy job, but that did not deter John and his crew. He even took it to the next level and provided recommendations for a sprinkler system and lighting. John adjusted and redesigned the layout to incorporate the sprinklers and beautiful lighting. Then, he continued to work with the sprinkler and lighting company and helped them even after his job was complete.

Some companies hurry through a job to get it done as fast as possible, but the difference with Kohut and Son Landscaping is that they go the extra mile to do things right the first time. They even transplanted all our plants that needed to be moved for the new project to a different area on our property so that those plants could be saved. Now the birds, squirrels and wildlife are also appreciating it!

We asked John if he could plant some perennials that were mostly deer resistant because we have lots of deer around our neighborhood. John did exactly as we hoped and even added some of our favorite flowers so that we could make floral arrangements inside the house as well! It seems there is nothing too difficult for John and his team. We will forever be grateful for the beautiful property you created for us. Many thanks John Kohut and crew!!“
