Festa Memorial Funeral

Coming up on the 5 year mark of my Dad's services there. Unlike many, Dad wasn't local anymore, but had entrusted a member of the Festa family, that shared my father's line of work, to "do right" by him.

Doing right entailed a partner funeral home on my side of the state transferring Dad's body somewhere on the Garden State Parkway, then getting his body to Totowa for the services.

There's a reason people choose Festa in their final time. Those who had roots or careers of note go there, as it's known as not only a landmark, but just *where you go*.

I'm forever grateful. Was it costly? Yes. Was it worth it? Also yes.

Recently used Festa for the passing of my learning disabled cousin. I did this remotely as I live in Washington, D.C. They took care of everything fabulously! At first I wanted him cremated then changed my mind last minute. No problem they took care of it immediately. When I went up for the burial, Charlie, the representative, was wonderful! Very caring and said some prayers at the gravesite because I had elected not to have a priest. I see some bad reviews here but in my experience I would not hesitate to use them. They were very caring and very responsive to my needs.The reason I used them was one of my cousins caregivers recommended them. She has been a hospice care giver for 20 plus years so I figured her recommendation was solid. It was!
