Recently obtained home health care services through Carefinders Toms River NJ for my cousin with Alzheimer’s Dementia. His most pressing issues were memory loss and diabetes. He had two aides for a total of four days (17 hours). Food shopping was an essential service for him and I had a terrible time getting their cooperation in this regard. While with him, it was also important for them to listen for his sugar monitor alarm should he run low. The few times he did, they didn’t know what had to be done in spite of being told.
