About Premier Health Associates

Premier Health Associates is a healthcare provider offering a wide range of services, from pediatrics to specialized care in rheumatology and gastroenterology. Patients appreciate the individual attention and caring, attentive doctors, especially the primary care physician, Dr. Casella. The practice has expanded to include Premier Health Research, which provides access to clinical trials for various conditions, giving patients the chance to participate and receive free medical tests or compensation. While the medical staff is praised for being "awesome," some patients have experienced issues with receptionists who can be rude and unhelpful. Patients also value the professionalism and excellent bedside manner of certain doctors, such as Dr. Pete, who has been highly recommended and has many years of experience. Others have shared concerns about feeling like their cases are not taken seriously, especially when dealing with insurance approvals or diagnosis disputes. Despite these issues, the practice maintains a reputation for caring doctors who genuinely listen and support their patients.

The front desk ladies here are so incredibly rude. Ive had good experiences with the doctors but wow sorry I have to call and make an appointment.

Ive also have had difficulties with getting appointments because of hours and them “just not doing” virtual appointments even though my doctor told me they did.

The people who work here are generally very kind and professional. My issue is with Atlantic Health System which recently took over Premier Health. Apparently, they have a policy that a patient has to physically come into the office anytime a prescription needs to be refilled. This is not a policy that they MUST have, but it’s easy to understand why they would want the extra money. SO, if I am expected to come in for an appointment 4 times a year for a non narcotic prescription to be refilled , then I STRONGLY feel that the practitioner with whom I am meeting for the “medicine check” needs to be ON TIME.

This is a review of the Randolph office: I am giving three stars to this practice due to the professionalism and excellent bedside manner of Dr. Pete. I have been seeing Dr. Pete for years. Five stars to him! Dr. Mahksida and his team, however, will make you feel like the most unimportant person in the world, at best. They deserve one star. I came to him with a diagnosis of PCOS and insulin resistance. Starting out, his nurse had the audacity to argue the diagnosis with me that was given to me by my gynecologist.. that should have been my first sign, amongst other things. Dr. Mahksida prescribed me a medication (zepborn) that is known to be difficult to receive approval by any insurance.. that's where I was abandoned. After the paperwork for the pre-authorization was put in, all that I was told each time I called to check in "we don't know, the nurse will get back to you soon." One receptionist even said (although a different receptionist said she was new) "I wouldn't get your hopes up on getting that medication he prescribed." He prescribed me the medication in July. It's almost December, I will be finding someone who takes my case seriously. My coworker was diagnosed with PCOS with insulin resistance in September and immediately put on metaforin. I'm going to find someone who just doesn't put my case in a file to collect dust.
