all i can say is Wow!keori is her name..30's age but she's so strong..i've never had massage like hers..i'd say she's 10 star..paid $160 for 1 hr but i feel it's worth it?
I got a 60 min neck, back, and shoulder massage because I have a lot of knots / tightness in my upper back region. My masseuse was absolutely wonderful in explaining exactly what she was doing and how her techniques would help my musculature. Accommodating and enjoyable. Furthermore, The spa itself is extremely clean. I'm definitely going back in a few weeks!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ... I know, I know... I always say that, lol To be fair, this is more blog-ish then review, lol, but here it is... So I went here a while back (felt like updating my reviews, I only have the NY stuff), nice little out of the place way. SUPER close to where I live so that was cool! Location is discreet and kinda gives off a shady vibe, lol, but it's actually kinda nice on the inside - and besides, most spa places look like that, lol (at least here in this area of Jersey, lol) So I do horrible with names, so idk who I spoke to. I do know she gave me my massage and I also opted in for the table shower. That was awkward... to be fair I'm a taller guy - 6'4/6'5... HoWeVeR the set-up really was not conducive to a proper table shower situation. I've been to places (The One Mens Spa) where the set-up was conducive to a table shower... i.e. the masseur had room to walk around the entire table or at least from end to end... like the table was the long part of a T and the top part of the T is the wall. Not setting up the table shower room indicates to me that this is not something they do often and/or know how to do. And this isn't NYC...Utopia Spa can at least say that they don't have the room cause they are in the city. Pro Spa 2 (or whatever their name is - see the last review, lol) is in the edge of a big area in NJ. Any who, I digress... The massage rooms were quaint. They seem to lack decorate and everything felt kinda cheaply put together to look nice. The massage was just okay, like barely passing, C, lol. Again, to be fair, I guess putting that appearance out, making sure your name is correct, and providing A+ massages isn't really why they are there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ All in all, regardless on what type of service they offered, the whole place was very #meh... like any part of the experience was very #meh... the most interesting part of the entire experience is just thinking about their existence...how they are there for so long. I don't think $100 or even $110/ $120 (depending what you paid for) is going to get you very far as business. However, they remain there and must have a steady clientele, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ lol. It would be super fascinating to see the type of people that go there. If for some miracle, the owner/s read this here's the thing to do to change your stars: 1.) Table shower room: modify in that T position 2.) Add more nice decor to your rooms 3.) Figure out what name (Pro Star cause it's on your front of the building) you are 4.) Lose the creepy spa look All in all, I get it... you're not here for all that... but still, appearance goes a long way.
