On Saturday morning, we walked in with an emergency because our 17 year old bestie, Panchito, was having trouble breathing. The staff were so kind and made sure we and our beloved Panchito were comfortable as we said goodbye to our furry family member. They let us spend as long as we needed with him and when we were ready to go they came back with his paw prints for us to keep. Then today, we got a condolences letter from them in the mail letting us know the hospital made a donation to an animal charity in his honor. It was obviously a very painful experience, but we are grateful for the compassion and care shown to our family.

Their availability is much greater than for our regular vet. We were able to get a next day appointment for our possibly sick cat, rather than wait 3 weeks for an appointment at our regular vet. Their charges are much more reasonable than they were several years ago, which is why we left in the first place. The vet was very nice and thorough, and put a video on about a medication she thought we might need when she took our cat for xrays. The only thing I didn't like was that a tech told us the xrays looked fine without being able to talk to the vet about it; however, she may call after the radiologist reviews them.

I recently took my 150-pound Rottweiler to Plainfield Animal Hospital for his vaccines, which were required for boarding while I went on vacation. I was initially hesitant and stressed about the visit because my dog has a history of being difficult during vet appointments, often growling and resisting examination due to his size and temperament. Every year, I dread this process.
From the moment I called to make an appointment, Plainfield Animal Hospital assured me they were well-equipped and trained to handle dogs like mine. Despite their reassurances, I did not expect the exceptional level of professionalism, courtesy, and skill displayed by the staff.
