I recently had LASIK surgery at Northern New Jersey Eye Institute (NNJEI), and I can honestly say it's been life-changing! For years, I struggled with glasses and contacts, and the freedom of clear vision is incredible.Dr. Crane was fantastic throughout the entire process. Drs are great, but office staff is rude and nasty. Don't listen, and condescending, especially when dealing with people of color. Want to be clear, I'm talking about billing manager and Intake person. Checkout staff does not treat you like this. Seems the American way be know-it-alls and treat people with disrespect and not let people finish what they are saying before responding.

Update: I'm not sure if they saw my review or not but they called me today and have taken the initiative to resolve my situation. I thought that was nice and I appreciated it. However they still usually have long wait times so that's something to keep in mind.Don't recommend it. Find another group. The doctors are fine and capable. It's the reception staff and customer service that's infuriating. Extremely frustrating to deal with these people and they usually have long wait times. They'll transfer you to the "medical department" who NEVER answers the phone or returns your voicemail message.
