“Dr. Pugliese and staff are all very kind and knowledgeable. I brought two of my bearded dragons here (bless their souls) and my beautiful Sulcata Tortoise here and she’s taken good care of them and shares the same passion for exotics and reptiles like I do. She isn’t the typical arrogant Doctor that claims to know it all, she isn’t afraid to tell you she doesn’t know something and she’ll do a lot of research to give you the right information about how to treat your animal. She is also very affordable compared to other vets I went to. She is definitely my go to whenever one of my reptiles get sick, I wish I can give her 10 stars!!“

“this was my first time taking my new cat to a vet. the check in was super fast, staff was really nice! got brought to the back almost immediately and let my cat roam the room and explore alittle. they got her weighed, asked me a bunch of questions in regards to symptoms because i had told them she was itchy and gave herself a tiny bald spot from scratching a lot. they took her previous records to front to update her profile and the vet came in almost immediately after. super nice, and very informative. did her wellness visit check up and took a look at the bald spot. said it was healing very well, and the hair was growing back already, so i was relieved. my cat also didnt freak out at all, not sure if thats because shes a people kitty, but she was chilling and just wanted to explore. the vet and assistant handled my cat with such care, and my cat also seemed to really like them! they offered her favorite treats to gain trust so she would let them look at her more closely. at the end of the visit, the vet put an ointment on her spot, and she hasnt scratched it since. was told to keep them updated so they could further treat it if worsened. all in all, id recommend them. the visit was also a lot cheaper than i was expecting, so that was nice too.“

“Dr Rubinstein is the most wonderful vet. My baby angel was going to him 19 years until the horrible day i had to put her down, which dr Rubinstein did for me.I'd recommend him to anyone. He's kind. Professional and most of all caring .“

“I recently started to use Bayshore on the recommendation of a few friends. Everyone from reception, to vet techs to Doctors are friendly, warm and caring. My animals get a thorough exam and are treated with respect. I say this because the last vet that I used was afraid of my very mild mannered dog and made me muzzle him before she'd approach him, even though he didn't exhibit any aggressive behavior. And she still didn't give him the exam he should have had. When I brought him to Bayshore I mentioned that they could muzzle him if they thought necessary and they said no need. And last vet was afraid of my cat because she was very vocal as she hates the carrier. Bayshore had no fear of giving her a thorough exam and correctly diagnosing her. Needless to say they are my new vet.“

“A caring compassionate care giver. He came to evaluate my 12yr old Lab after he was not responding well to meds after an ICU stay. Unfortunately a few weeks later my pup took a turn for the worse and Dr Astarbi returned to euthanize him. He was so patient & understanding, performing this final act of kindness in the comfort of my pups bed made it SO MUCH LESS STRESSFUL. Thank you Dr Astarbi“

Her treatment towards him is so understanding due to him being a Covid baby, compared to his previous vets who were incredibly scared of him and offered no help. All the staff is exceptional. And calls after hours to check up and see how your pet is doing. Hard to find a vet that genuinely cares about animals the way he does. “Our Halo had a malignant tumor on her left shoulder which we confirmed by x-ray from our vet on Monday 10-21-19. The manipulation of the x-ray caused her horrific pain during the night and I was desperate to get her relief. Dr. Weinberg answered his phone at 5:30am and verbalized that we were not in his area. After I explained Halo's pain, he agreed to come and euthanized her at home. He was compassionate and got to work right away, explaining the entire procedure step by step. Halo is resting in peace and was at home surrounded by her family when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Thank You to Dr. Weinberg, we are forever grateful.“
