My dog Miles hasn’t been to a groomer in 2 years. He used to have no problem going until a groomer sliced his paw open. Ever since he’s been anxious and aggressive to the point that no groomer would take him. Then I found NJ Dog Barbers from an article and decided to take a chance. He’s been so matted and uncomfortable for weeks and I just don’t trust myself not to cut him by accident. Today they worked a miracle. He looks like a new dog! We have been using these guys for some years. I cannot express enough how cared for my pets are. We have two Persians and a Staffy. They treat my pets and us as owners with friendly, professional, and top tier treatment. We tried another since moving to Marlboro but treatment was not the same. I highly recommend. Well worth my travel and wait time.
We bring all five of our dogs to NJ Dog Barbers, and they’re the only groomers I fully trust. A couple of our pups struggle with anxiety, and three are puppy mill survivors so finding a groomer who understands their history and treats them with patience and compassion is everything to me. John and Ken are incredible, and Uri always makes us feel welcome the second we walk in.
