All-Star Dental is a welcoming dental office that helps patients feel at home, making visits less intimidating. The staff, including a warm front desk representative, is professional and cheery. Dr. Hussein has been praised for being gentle, patient, and informative, making him a favorite among long-term patients who recommend him to family and friends. However, there have been some challenges with communication, particularly regarding the answering service and weekend hours, which could be improved for better patient service. Overall, the practice is known for its caring atmosphere and skilled staff.
My husband had some difficulty getting in touch with the practice due to their answering service incorrectly recording his information, as well as the fact that he tried calling two Fridays and Saturdays in a row, when they are apparently closed or have reduced hours for the summer. At one point he thought the entire practice must have gone out of business since he couldn't get in touch with anyone. I think they could better serve their patients by having an answering machine or answering service that makes clear they are closed on Fridays, rather than just letting the phone ring and ring. But my husband says the dentist is very nice, easy to work with, and was apologetic about the mixup.
