“My backyard is a blank canvas so I'd imagine that I would have a covered deck/sort of an extension of our indoor living space. I wanted a dream outdoor space. I found Active Hammer Home Improvement via Facebook. I checked out their website and saw a deck they build that was similar to what I wanted. I called Garry for a free consultation and there was something about him that made me and my husband feel comfortable. We had a good feeling about him. The final design was a little different than what I initially wanted (which was out of Garry's control). I wasn't able to get a fully covered deck but Garry assured me that the partial covered deck will be just as beautiful. The process made me very anxious but Garry made sure to explain every step. Garry and his crew were very professional. Everything was cleaned when the project was completed. Regarding payments - Garry will work with you and I believe there is a discount for military families (but you should definitely confirm). We did 50% down, then 50% of the remaining balance, then 50% of that remaining balance and so forth and so forth. Active Hammer did an amazing job (as you can see from the pictures/videos). I definitely recommend them if you are looking to renovate your home.“

He fixed a small issue for us without even charging for it or having our agreement for his quote (very fair and competitive) in writing. They took care of our covered patio area and matched the wood ceiling where our old skylights were removed. Changed parts of our roof with rotted plywood and added flashing that was never there from before. Any issues were addressed promptly and they finished the job in 1 day.
