“We recently had our roof replaced on our house and 2 sheds as well as a skylight. From start to finish we could not be happier with every interaction with the company. Ed, the salesman was so personable and professional. He showed up when he said he would and did not try to sell us anything more than we wanted, in fact we added on the 2 sheds on our property to redo as well. He explained everything so well, was patient with my questions and was very helpful. The crew showed up the day we had scheduled and worked through the entire day until it was dark. I did not think they were going to get everything done in just one day but they surprised me and did. They worked really hard! They even did a great job with clean up and were all so courteous. “It’s normal to feel anxious when a company or person new to you starts working to fix something on your property. I did which is why I am writing this review. I called a company called NextGen to fix two leaking skylights on my roof. A previous company has misinstallded them and they were leaking badly with each rainfall. The NextGen service representative , Ken Duci, came and was so open. So helpful, that I immediately trusted him. He and his workers took one day to remove the skylights which I had bought new but which had been damaged. Ken and NextGen did a fine and fastidious job and while I felt completely satisfied, they promised to come back immediately if I should have any problems. I doubt very much that I will have problems , although I regret than I won’t see them again until I need any other work done. I thought the gutters were leaking but he quickly found that the underlayment on my 80 year old slate needed replacement on one section of the roof. He carefully removed each slate, added new underlayment and then replaced each slate in its original position cutting new ones where necessary. He pointed out problems from previous repairs. What great work! I will use JCX for all my slate maintenance in the future.“

Roofing has been the best I have ever had, to date, with a member of the trades. As a woman with a background in building science, far too many of my experiences with tradespeople that are men have been assuming my ignorance, being condescended to, being cut off and spoken over, and, sadly, receiving estimates from those that I have learned should not be in construction at all due to their lack of knowledge and often combined with an ingrained work culture to just get it done fast, instead of get it done right.Cafo is different. “Not sure why we went with anyone else, but long story short after a terrible run with another company who left our roof unresolved with a leak and ghosted us for a year, we can now thank Bay Roofing for helping to resolve the issue and now live happily with a LEAK FREE roof and a skylight that now sees the light of day instead of a blue tarp (which was the solution for over a year). The other company? Northkit Roofing. It was a long and stressful road to this point but let's just say champagne is on ice and will be enjoyed at some point this week. “HIGHLY recommended. I came out because I had a leak way up on my roof in the vent stack. The guys came on time and went way up there and fixed it really, really well. They showed me photos of the old cover and it was in ruins. I also saw how they did the new one and by their work I could tell they were really knowledgeable on how to work on roofing. I asked about other parts of the roof, where they could have charged me more, but instead gave me some free advice and inspected the roof and patched some nail pops at no extra charge. I am going to hire them to do more just because they did such a great job with this small project. I am confident they do quality work, and I have an eye for how things are done. I am actually contacting them right now to do some more work for me. A very smart way to do business, I think this company is going to go very far.“
