My AC went out on a Monday around 5pm while we had a 90 degree plus heat wave going on. I called a few companies but all of them wanted to charge me $300 just to come out to look at it and were going to "try and fit me in". I called Preferred Plus and Matt came by the next morning. He checked out my 15 yr old unit and we made the decision to just have a new condenser installed. Matt left my house grabbed the supplies and by 1pm sameday we had our AC again. We just had a baby and couldn't leave him in this heat. We are so grateful for this company coming out and doing amazing work. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable and above all honest! Matt is the best! We had a huge problem when getting a french drain installed in the basement by a waterproofing vendor who accidentally got our sewer pipe filled with debris due to a hole in its side. Sewage was backing up into the basement and causing us major stress. We obtained several astronomical quotes from companies stating we would need to replace so much piping. Matt stated he could resolve the problem in a simpler way and for half the price. His work was quick and solved the problem! So happy to have found Preferred Plus after reading reviews online! We had water in and around our furnace, and I called Matt around 9am. Within a few hours, he was at my house and the issue was fixed. Turns out it was a faulty water valve to our broken humidifier. Price was reasonable and he provided quotes for potential future service. Matt was a pleasure to work with and I felt he was honest with his recommendations. Looking forward to use him in the future!
