“The best vet I've ever seen is Dr. Danielsen. I've been taking my animals there for about 18 years, and as long as she's been my vet, she's been very sensitive to my animal's needs, while balancing sound advice to me as a pet mom. She's never trying to sell unsolicited or unnecessary services, tests, vaccines or extraneous products. He staff is very courteous, kind and sensitive, even when you're panic stricken because your pet baby is sick. Her prices have always been very reasonable. She is the only vet I'd take my animals to.“

“Dr. Garruba and his staff have been taking care of my pets (one cat, two dogs) since 2010. My pets have always been treated gently and with compassion, and I know they are getting the right treatment. When our golden retriever was dying two years ago, Dr. Garruba came out to my car to examine him, and told me that the end was near. He recommended a service that does euthanasia in the home, which turned out to be the best way. If you're looking for a vet practice that combines good care and respect for your pets, this is the place.“

“I have been bringing my 2 French Bulldogs here since they were tiny puppies and Harlingen has been wonderful ever since the first visit. Gaston & Petra get SOOO excited to see their very first doctor, Dr. Smetts and the entire team. Dr. Oakley who is their surgeon is fantastic and was even able to treat my chicken when she hurt her foot! The entire staff here are very kind and patient and make you feel right at home. I used a different vet in the past with my cats and honestly felt like they were always trying to push prescriptions and product that I didn't feel were necessary for them, so when I adopted my puppies I did my research to make sure I took them to a vet that had a good reputation for integrity. I never feel like anyone at Harlingen would ever suggest any medicine that is not necessary which is very comforting. I highly recommend Harlingen for your furry and feathery family members.“

I would say the pricing is decent. It's also very easy to get an appointment if you have an emergency! “Have no idea why this place doesn't have 5 stars. Been here several times to see Dr Kazden for my dogs heart murmur ( She's 18! Going strong) The Dr moved here from Mt Laurel so I travel over an hour to see her. She's perfect . Anyway, I just had to reschedule an appt and whoever helped me on the phone ( I Wish I got her name) was the FRIENDLIEST person I have ever spoken to. I only help I help my customers at work like she did for me. It was like talking to a person that just had the best day of her life!!! Certainly put me in a better mood. Thank you Hillsborough for having such a great staff. Makes my hour drive worth it to go to this hospital and my little Cady is comfortable with Dr Kazden. Trusts her and appts go smoothly!“
