“I got my very first tattoo done by Moko at CJ Tattoo and I couldn't be happier with it. I didn't know what to expect but she made the process easy and it set me at ease as I got my tattoo. They have little snacks for you as you get your piece done and they have privacy screens to make you more comfortable. I travelled from Maryland to get this tattoo done specifically by Moko because I loved her work from the moment I first saw it and I knew she could create exactly what I wanted, and it was definitely worth the trip. From the initial booking request, they were so helpful and answered all of my questions through many back and forth emails. “It was a great experience getting my eye brows done for the first time. I was very apprehensive about getting eye brows done and I wanted my eye brows done by a professional who understands my needs. Esther was wonderful and patient with explaining everything to me making me comfortable throughout the process. She understands every face is unique and she knows the best shape of brows to suit the individual. In addition to her professionalism, her place is very clean. She wears a PPE gown during the procedure and she have us take off our shoes which i really appreciate since in Asian culture we do not wear shoes in the house. :) Overall, I am happy with my brows and I am returning to get my touch up!“

“I originally came in here for my forward helix however because of my ear anatomy it wouldn’t work. I really appreciate May’s honesty because I just know any other piercer would’ve done it at another place. I then asked her what would look best on my ear and she gave me a couple of suggestions. So in the end I went with my conch. Let’s just say from start to finish May was soooo sweet and super helpful. The whole process was a breeze and the piercing itself did not hurt! She made me feel super comfortable. I’m obsessed with my piercing!! Definitely recommend May for all your piercing needs!!“

“After seeing a friends eyebrows I decided to have a consultation, and I’m so happy I did. Initially I was a bit apprehensive as my eyebrows were thin and I thought the shape would be difficult to attain. Joanne was gracious and very informative taking her time to explain the process with detail, putting my nerves at ease. First you have the consultation appt., then the micro blading appt., then the touch up appt. All together its three appts. She provided written and verbal instructions which I followed to the tee, and had little to no swelling. Joanne is a master of what she does and I am so happy with my eyebrows and highly recommend her. Her salon is pristinely clean, and modern and you are the only client in the room at the time of the process. This makes the experience worthwhile. In addition her price is way, way, less than other competitors. When I wake up in the morning it is a relief to know I don’t have to paint on my eyebrows. I’ve added a picture of how they look without my third touch up appt. I love them!!!“

“So I got a tragus piercing that was totally an impulsive decision of mine?. Nonetheless, my experience with Sid (my piercer) was great. He reassured me by first explaining each step of the piercing process including his sanitary precautions. I was so comfortable I got 2 more piercings (one to reopen an old piercing). You should choose this spot if you want your piercings done right. ?.

I wanted to add some color for a couple of tattoos I previously had and I lucked out with Dymon. He was absolutely fantastic: very professional, friendly, patient and his work absolutely great! I'm planning to come back to do more body art with him.

“Had a great experience with Arjun this past weekend! I reached out to him with my design idea a few weeks prior and we were able to set a date. Once there it was an easy process getting set up and Arjun was prepared with questions and stencils, and helped me until I found the perfect size/placement. The tattooing itself was great, Arjun was gentle and let me know when it would get more painful. They were very accommodating and even offered to buy me dinner when we took a break. Very hospitable and kind, and the tattoo came out fantastic, I’m super satisfied and would recommend anyone come to this shop!

Requested style: Very willing to work with an idea I already had, and gave opinions when I asked! Felt very much like we were in it together.

“I should’ve written this review when I went there. They were very friendly and helpful when the tattoo and piercing place in the Bronx were terrible. Red Baron is a great place to go to, the female staff, I believe her name is Lauren took care of me when my navel piercing was hanging down. She explained everything to me, she was very helpful. When I told her my situation with the other place when they told me to let the piercing fall out, even she explained that’s not what they were supposed to say. She was able to take out the piercing and waited a few months to get repierced by her, she did a great job. I would definitely recommend this place.“
